Busy weekend…
Phew what a busy weekend. Thanks to our great team of firer's that were all out this weekend providing displays for Brides & Grooms, Girl Guides and Birthdays celebrations - thank you. You know who you are… great team work equals happy customers.
Plus we were also busy pre-rigging and fusing all the musical displays for June this year a good job well done! Just a few pictures of what we get up to before we even get to the firing site. So many hours of work that is never even seen.

Revolver firework front cover photo shoot
A few weeks back we worked with a design company called Crush in Brighton to provided some sparks for their photo shoot for a Revolver brochure cover. Thanks to Chris Pelling and Jack Wells from Crush for sending through the finalised cover that can be seen above. Looks great! There should be a video online soon as well.

Flashpoint Fireworks May 2012 - UPDATE
In need of some dryer weather…
We can’t believe it’s still raining here @ Flashpoint. It's raining, It's pouring blah blah blah… It’s MAY for goodness sake!
Hoping the last few weeks of May will be a bit warmer so the ground drys out for our Jubilee firework display in Godalming on the 4th June 2012. The display design is now complete and it is looking like a fantastic display… the finale is erm… very Red, White and Blue!

Wedding Fireworks West Meon, 28th April 2012
28th April, West Meon Hampshire
In late April we fired a fantastic musical display to Highland Cathedral for a wedding in Hampshire. On the day our display team had to deal with terrible weather all day to make sure the bride and groom still got their display, which thankfully we did =)
The client had asked for some really nice big shell in the finale. You can see the pictures below of the display shell being prepared for launch and loaded into the tubes.
The client was really please with the display and emailed us to say “Everyone agreed it was the best fireworks they had seen, it truly was phenomenal. Every thank you letter dwells on how fantastic the fireworks were. Thank you so so much. Well done Flashpoint Fireworks!”

Interesting week
It’s been an interesting week at Flashpoint Fireworks. Getting ready for a big wedding show on Saturday 28th, really hope the weather is better than the forecast! It looks like it will be a wet one but fingers crossed.
On Tuesday night we were working on a photo shoot with a design agency called Crush Creative in Brighton. Not the everyday type of work Flashpoint Fireworks normally does but a really great experience using fireworks to enhance a design for a brochure cover. We were shooting silver fountains across the back of the company logo that had been cut out of a sheet of wood with the photographer, Kevin Mason from Create, adding some amazing coloured lights into the shot. The images on site looked stunning and we are really look forward to seeing the final product.

Flashpoint April 2012 - UPDATE
It’s been a while…
It has been a few weeks since our last update to our news/blog pages here on our website, but there has been lots going on at Flashpoint in the run up to our summer season with lots of bookings for weddings and summer events. We have some great displays booked including a fantastic local display for Godalming Town for the Queens Jubilee. We will also be providing the displays for the Summer Nights at Loseley Park concerts from the 16th-19th August 2012. Last week we provide a display for a client near Maidenhead. The venue has a wonderful lake so we decided to use a aquatic display cake, watch out for the cake at 3:50 that sends comets from the lake into the air at 3:57. We decide to shoot the video so you could see what happens on the firing site during one of our smaller five-minute display. The client was really pleased with the display and everyone was really impressed with the “firework that went off on the water”.

Godalming Town Council’s Jubilee Music Concert
Everyone at Flashpoint Fireworks is delighted to be providing the Grand Firework Finale on the 4th June, which is part of Godalming Town Council’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The ‘Godalming Town Council’s Jubilee Music Concert’ will take place at Phillips Memorial Park, a celebration of 60 years of music, from 1952-2012 starting at 5.30pm on Monday 4 June and culminating with the ‘Godalming Lion’s Torch Lit Procession’ and the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon. Flashpoint will provide a stunning firework finale to round off the evening.
