Godalming Town Council’s Jubilee Music Concert
Everyone at Flashpoint Fireworks is delighted to be providing the Grand Firework Finale on the 4th June, which is part of Godalming Town Council’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The ‘Godalming Town Council’s Jubilee Music Concert’ will take place at Phillips Memorial Park, a celebration of 60 years of music, from 1952-2012 starting at 5.30pm on Monday 4 June and culminating with the ‘Godalming Lion’s Torch Lit Procession’ and the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon. Flashpoint will provide a stunning firework finale to round off the evening.

50th Birthday Celebrations near Newbury

Musical firework display for a 50th Birthday Celebration
Fantastic display for a client near Newbury, Berkshire. The display was set to Pure Imagination, Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Britannia and was the start to an amazing weekend birthday celebration for our client. It was a long day for our eight strong crew with the display being spread over four display sites.
A Pyro’s lunch.
Close proximity pyrotechnics.
Three of the seven front sites.
40mm Single shot mines for punctuation.
Display racks ready to be moved into position.
Display cakes and candles being prepared.
The client absolutely loved the display and some of his guests comments were along the lines of... “you won’t get a knighthood because these fireworks have upstaged the forthcoming diamond jubilee… Best display I have ever seen including any displays that had been put on by the city we live in”

Another year gone... but as we move into 2012 which is a fantastic year with the Summer Olympics, Queens Diamond Jubilee and Euro 2012 all taking place it means there are more reasons to have a professional fired firework display. Flashpoint has already taken booking for lots of events this year with the Queens Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics being very popular events to celebrate. Musical Wedding displays were really popular also in 2011 and a lot of new bookings are already in for 2012.
Everyone at Flashpoint fireworks is looking forward to a spectacular year of displays in 2012.

All our Christmas lights switch on's are now done and Santa's getting ready kids

Another fantastic Birthday display in Chatham, Kent, last weekend saw an end to our displays for this year before Christmas.
Thanks to the teams that went out this last week on all the Christmas lights switch on displays, great comments back from all the clients. The weather was a bit chilly most nights but great to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. A little rest now and some Christmas shopping for a week or two and then NYE displays will need sorting.

Essex Christmas lights switch on, Colchester 19th November
Amazing evening in Colchester to get into the Christmas spirit. There were lots of Star Wars fans around as well. Darth Vader made tried to take over the lights switch on but everyone agreed that it should be Father Christmas =) You can see a video on our Facebook page here >>> Link

Eastbourne, Sussex - November School Musical Display

November 12th, School Musical Display
Brilliant display for a school in Eastbourne, Sussex. This year we decided with the client to choose No 1’s from 2011. The children all sang their hearts out to every track, even Adele =) Plus great feedback from the client “Just wanted to say....awesome firework display - the feedback has been amazing - the Headmaster said it was the best ever, parents who have children out of competitor schools said ours was by far the best - so all round thumbs up! Well done!!!”

November 5th Musical Wedding Display - Musical display to Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer
Flashpoint were asked by Mark and Samantha to design a display to their favourite track Livin’ On a Prayer, they are huge Bon Jovi fans. Jon Robinson set out to design a dynamic display fired from seven positions at a very tight site at Bury Court near Bentley. The punctuation fireworks in front of the barn in orange and blue were spectacular and everyone loved the display. The groom text us the next day and said... “ you guys did the best job last night. FANTASTIC display :-) Thank you.”
