Penshurst Place & Gardens and the surrounding estate have stood in the historic village of Penshurst since the 14th century, when the awe-inspiring medieval Baron’s Hall was completed in 1341 as a country retreat for the Lord Mayor of London. The Baron’s Hall, crowned by an original 60ft high chestnut beamed ceiling is an unmissable sight.
Penshurst Place has been described by couples as the perfect combination of an inspiring castle, mixed with the quaint feeling of an intimate manor house wedding. Looked after by a small team of experienced coordinators, the unique venue offers both indoor and outdoor weddings for as many as 136 guests, or as few as just the two of you.
There 14th century Baron’s Hall, Tudor banqueting rooms, and 11 acres of beautiful Elizabethan Gardens are the perfect backdrop for your Kentish wedding, allowing you to capture memories to last a lifetime.

Frequently asked Q&A's
The display will still go ahead. At Flashpoint we watch the weather forecasts very carefully in the days running up to your event and if there is any chance of rain, all the fireworks will be waterproofed prior to the event. We have never cancelled a firework display due to rain.
Yes – at Flashpoint Fireworks Ltd we have £10,000,000 comprehensive public & product liability insurance.
All of our displays have a full written risk assessment and site plan supplied to you along with our insurance documents and other health and safety documents prior to the display.
In the UK we can provide firework displays from 7:00am until 11:00pm with the exceptions of November 5, New Years Eve, Chinese New Year and Diwali – where we are allowed until 1:00am. We will work within these regulations and discuss with you the best time for your display. These times can be flexible, so if we are aware of a weather system at the time your display was going to take place we can move the time accordingly to accomodate this.

How much will it cost? Giving you an accurate cost for your firework display is quick and easy after a brief discussion about your ideas, so we suggest you give us a call for a discussion about what you are looking for and we will then send over a quote.
This is because firework display pricing is determined by many key factors. These include duration of the show, the size and type of fireworks used, the level of customisation you might want, the site where the display will take place and the complexity of the design. Additional considerations such as site location, safety requirements, crew size, and setup time can also affect the overall cost. Every display we provide is tailored to the event and venue, ensuring the best possible experience while meeting all safety standards and of course your budget expectations.
Professional firework displays last anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes in length generally and display budgets range from £995 to £50,000+ depending on the date of your event and the type of firework display you are looking for, the sky really is the limit. All prices include VAT.
How many positions? Another key factor in costs is how many positions the display is fired from. Below we have provided a few example illustrations of how this works. It shows a single, three and five postion layout for a firework display.
SINGLE POSITION: 5-10m wide.
THREE POSITION: 40-50m wide.
FIVE POSITION: 60-70m wide.

Liaise with all the emergency services required such as the CAA, fire service, local council and police to keep them informed of your event.

Provide a professional display team to set up the firework display and work with any event planners and your venue. Stay in touch with you and/or your planners at your venue. Carry out a final check to make sure all safety procedures are in place prior to the display. Fire your display at the correct time.

Carefully clear the site of all spent fireworks and tidy the display site removing debris from the firing site. Get in touch to discuss your display and hear any feedback. Supply a video of your firework display, if the display was recorded.
