Firework Display Pricing Explained.
One of the most common questions we’re asked at Flashpoint Fireworks is: "How much does a professional firework display cost?" The truth is that every display is different. The cost depends on several factors including the display size, number of postions, duration, location, type of fireworks used, and if the display is set to music.
Every firework display we create at Flashpoint Fireworks is completely bespoke. We do not offer fixed packages, instead, each display is professionally designed to suit your venue, audience, and vision. This allows us to create premium-quality displays that are tailored to your event rather than limited by pre-set options.
Yes, displays set to music usually cost more than standard displays. This is because they require specialist design work, computer programming, and additional preparation time to ensure the fireworks are perfectly synchronised with the music.
Yes, we frequently design firework displays specifically for schools and understand the importance of staying within budget. We can customise the duration, firework selection, and layout to create a safe and exciting show that delivers maximum impact while remaining affordable. Please note that certain peak dates, particularly around November, may attract higher prices. Contact us for full details and a personalised quote.
Yes, we specialise in creating high-impact firework displays for corporate events, including product launches, celebrations, and large public gatherings. Each display can be scaled to match the audience size and desired visual impact. We also offer lance-work's for company logos and branding effects, making them a perfect addition to any corporate firework show.
Corporate display pricing depends on several factors, including display size, duration, site complexity, number of firing positions, and whether the display is choreographed to music. Additional elements such as branding effects, special colours, or custom sequences may also influence the overall cost.
In some cases, yes. School sites can vary greatly, and factors such as nearby buildings, limited space, or restricted firing areas may affect the type of fireworks we can use. Additional planning, safety measures, or equipment may be required depending on the site layout.
How many positions? One key factor affecting the cost of a firework display is the number of firing positions used. Below are examples showing single, three, and five-position layouts for a firework display. For larger events, we can provide displays with up to thirteen positions.
As you can see, the more positions used to fire a display, the greater the visual impact. This is because more fireworks can be launched at the same time, creating a fuller and more impressive show. However, increasing the number of firing positions will also significantly increase the overall cost of the display.
SINGLE POSITION: 5-10m wide.
THREE POSITION: 40-50m wide.
FIVE POSITION: 60-70m wide.
Do you want the firework display set to music? If you are considering a display choreographed to one or more music tracks, please note that these displays do cost more than standard shows. Musical displays are carefully designed by our technicians using specialist computer software, allowing fireworks to be fired with split-second accuracy in perfect time with the music.
This process is highly detailed and time-consuming, involving many additional hours of design and preparation before the day of the event. Flashpoint Fireworks is proud to be one of the UK’s leading professional companies offering musical displays, and we are honoured to have won the British Musical Firework Championships.
Display site location: When providing professional firework displays, the location of the firing site is crucial to ensure the display is delivered safely. In some cases, this can be straightforward, such as a large open field with plenty of surrounding space. However, in other situations, the site can be far more complex.
For example, a school playground may be surrounded by nearby properties, meaning we may only be able to use fireworks of a certain calibre. In more challenging environments, such as rooftop displays in central London, we must carefully consider many additional factors.
For one rooftop display we provided in Vauxhall, London, we liaised with air traffic control at Heathrow and the London Heliport, as well as the Metropolitan Police and the American Embassy, to obtain approval. This allowed us to safely deliver a firework display on the 57th floor of a new building as part of a topping-out ceremony prior to the building’s completion.
Firework display duration: Longer firework displays naturally require a greater number of individual fireworks and more complex firing sequences to maintain a continuous, visually engaging show. Each additional minute of display adds to the quantity of fireworks, and choreography needed to create a seamless experience, which in turn increases the overall investment.
Most professional bespoke displays typically range from 2-10 minutes, in November 10-15 minutes, though the exact duration will depend on your budget and the type of effects you wish to include. Longer displays allow for more dramatic sequences, varied colours, plus an extended finale that provides your audience with a truly memorable experience.
